U.S./Gambia Trade Promotion Week (May 4-11)

Drawing on already strong ‘roots’, USA Week-The Gambia seeks to establish the first ever American trade promotion-focused event in The Gambia.  During the weeklong symposium, participants will have the opportunity to engage with decision-makers from across the public and private sectors; discover the resources available to facilitate business opportunities abroad and at home; discuss legal and regulatory issues with experts; and liaise with both entrepreneurs and business leaders on ways to establish and encourage business.   Throughout the week, the spotlight will focus on strengthening communication and information resources by partnering The Gambia’s assets and its needs with American technological know-how, ingenuity and resources.  By planting the seeds of entrepreneurship, cultivating business to business interaction and harnessing Gambia’s innate resources, participants will be able to harvest the fruits of a strengthened economic relationship between the United States and The Gambia.
