Jazz Appreciation month celebrated at the Ambassador’s Residence

On Thursday 24th April, Ambassador Barry L. Wells hosted a musical concert at his residence to celebrate Jazz appreciation month. The concert was attended by a diverse section of the Gambian community, with a strong presence of the musicians and the media houses. The Baton Band, a multi-cultural group, entertained the guests with American Jazz and Blues, and a rich selection of traditional Gambian folk music. (more)
