Emergency Contact Information

American Citizens in need of emergency services are welcome to come to the Embassy.  For an emergency involving an American citizen in The Gambia, you can reach us during weekday hours at:

We are located at 92 Kairaba Avenue in Fajara, The Gambia.

Emergencies such as medical emergencies, deaths or arrests involving American citizens will still be handled on a walk-in basis. American Citizens who need emergency services are welcome to come to the Embassy during normal U.S. Embassy hours which are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

If you are an American citizen with an after hours emergency (including weekends or holidays), please call our Duty Officer at +220 437 5270 for assistance.
